Die cast models and other items are shipped via USPS insured to US customers. However, sometimes the demand for an item exceeds the available supply. If we, or our suppliers, are out of stock on an item and do not expect to ship your item within five business days, we will notify you via email. In order to ship out your item to you as soon as possible, some products are shipped to you directly from the manufacturer, or our distributor. Delivery for these items may take up to two weeks or longer. EXPEDITED SHIPMENT REQUESTS - BACKORDERED ITEMS - Backordered items can be replenished in a matter of weeks, although some unique backordered items can take up to two to four months to obtain, depending on the type of model. We will notify you as soon as possible about your backordered item, and supply you with the estimated delivery date. SHIP AND SUBMARINE MODELS - Are generally available within two to four weeks when inventory levels are good. If the ship or submarine purchased is out of stock, it could take longer for delivery from the factory. Unexpected delays due to production or logistics can prolong delivery times up to three to four months to obtain, until the new inventory is delivered. Ship and submarine models are very painstakingly created and accurately detailed museum quality replicas, they are not mass produced. They are a true "work of art". Please contact us via email if you would like to order and pay via Money Order, Bank Check or Personal Check. Payment via Personal Checks are accepted, but we will hold the check for 10 days, to allow the funds to clear. Ohio residents please add 7% Ohio state sales tax.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - PURCHASING - INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS QUOTE - If you would like to know the USPS Air Mail shipping charges before purchasing an item from our website, please contact us via email with a list of the item(s) you would like to purchase. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING INSURANCE - If you would like insurance for your international shipment, internationally insured shipping will have to be facilitated via FedEx - Federal Express. Duty, taxes and customs are the responsibility of the consumer and must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges. The estimated time of delivery for international orders is 3-10 days.
SALES TAX - Sales tax is added only to orders delivered within the State of Ohio. The state of Ohio requires that we charge sales tax on the full amount of the order including the shipping charges. When applicable, sales tax information will be displayed in your shopping cart along with other pricing information that pertains to your order. The current sales tax rate in the State of Ohio is 7%.
CANADIAN ORDERS - PURCHASING - Canadian orders are subject to duties, taxes and are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid upon receipt of shipment. Contact your customs office for more information on duties, taxes and restricted products. The estimated delivery time for Canadian orders is 3-10 business days when items are in stock. Canadian buyers will be subject to higher shipping fees. We will email you a PayPal link with information on how to pay the additional shipping charge.
US Customers: - We will accept returns within 7 days of delivery, and provide full refunds of our items minus shipping and handling costs. Models must be returned in original boxes and packaged in original packing material. All Desktop models purchased by our U.S. customers will be shipped via FedEx Ground Insured. Items to our U.S. customers that arrive damaged will be handled via FedEx insurance and a new model will be sent to you once the damaged item has been returned. Our models are VERY well packaged however, and we have yet to experience any damage on our shipments. You must notify us before returning items or you will be assessed a 20% restocking fee.
